Tavanipupu Island Resort is built on a former coconut plantation on an exclusive 13-hectare island that’s only a 15-minute boat ride from Marau airport. The exclusive resort offers 10 bungalows and with a limited number of guests, you will experience the ultimate island getaway without the usual hustle and bustle of large commercial resorts. This little bit of paradise with its azure blue waters and pristine reefs has even hosted the Royal couple, Prince William and Kate, in 2012.
Whether you’re here on a romantic retreat or with your family, friends, part of a corporate group or celebrating your wedding, Tavanipupu caters to all guests. Why not reserve the entire island for yourself?
The resort can accommodate up to 30 guests and is ideal for a range of events. Facilities include two large restaurants/bar areas, meals that can be designed for your culinary requirements, entertainment, WiFi and more.
Tavanipupu, which locally translates as the “passage of the Trigger fish”, recently renovated five of the ten bungalows and three more bungalows were built earlier this year.
Each of the bungalows features rattan furnishings, a plush king-size bed, oversized bathrooms, and private deck with ocean views.
For the ultimate castaway island experience, the bungalows do not have any televisions or telephones, although there is complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access in the main lounge areas.
The four types of accommodations include the Family Bungalow, Island Bungalow, Deluxe Bungalow and Royal Bungalow. The Family Bungalow features a King bed, four single beds and the Island Bungalow offers a King bed in a unique and character building bungalow that is situated among the tropical landscape with exotic flowers, mangroves, coconut trees facing the ocean and includes a deck with outdoor table and chairs.
