Located in the heart of the Coral Coast, the Wicked Walu Restaurant is an award-winning restaurant that specializes in seafood grills, steaks and delightful desserts. Wicked Walu is one of Warwick Fiji’s five restaurants and overlooks the serene waters of Fiji’s Coral Coast in an intimate setting. The restaurant is located on a private island that is only a stone’s throw away from the beach.
It is accessible by a coral bridge that will take you to a stunning thatched roof hut that offers indoor and outdoor dining. The wooden furniture is rustic and sturdy, combing elegance with tropical flair. Coconut trees spring generously across the tiny island, providing an incredible backdrop to stunning water views.
Feast on the popular Platter Kwalevu, which is ideal for four people to share. It offers a selection of seafood including fresh Australian oysters, NZ mussels, smoked salmon, NZ calamari, Chinese scallop, wonton prawn, traditional Fijian kokoda, catch of the day whole fish, mahi mahi, tuna, whole lobster from Lautoka and whole prawns. Starters include seared scallops, marinated raw fish in coconut milk, sesame wonton prawns and baby octopus. Mains include the grilled fish of the day, grilled lonbster and beef fillet. Choose your sides from steamed rice, mixed leaves with Parmesan, fries and roasted pumpkin with almonds. If you have room, you must squeeze in their renowned desserts that include classic favourites such as the chocolate tart and summer pudding. There is also a kids menu available with a complimentary fruit salad and vanilla ice cream.
