Estabished in 1991, Dive Munda offers over 30 diving sites that they have discovered and named themselves. Imagine pristine reef with hard and soft coral gardens, gigantic sea fans and spectacular walls that drop off to over 600 meters – the range of sites will mesmerize even the most experienced diver.
Expect to see grey, hammerhead, blacktip and whitetip reef sharfs routinely patrolling as well as eagle rays, dogtooth tuna, barracuda and other pelagics. If you’re a diver who prefers to discover smaller sea creatures, you will find pygmy seahorses, varieties of anemone fish, spiny lobsters and fiery dartfish.
For divers who want to extend their bottom times or increase their safety margins, Dive Munda offer Enriched Air Nitrox fills but as Munda is a remote area, Nitrox fills are not always available
In addition to the reefs and abundant marine life, Munda’s seabed is littered with wrecks from WWII, with fighter planes, bombers, a Japanese freighter and a recently discovered dump site with tanks. Visibility varies from 15 to 40+ meters.
The wet season tends to begin late December and tapers off in March, although Dive Munda dives year-round and regularly explores new and exciting sites.
Dive Munda also offers several locations for free diving with easy accessibility to freediving sites off small boats and great support for freediving group travel. All safety and support requirements are adhered to. For more information, please call +677 62156 or visit mundadive.com.
